So for those of you who have visited the DSG in the past, you’ll notice something a little different… actually, drastically different! The forums have been moved (they’re still accessible), and the dsgforum.com index page is now a blog.

Why the change? I was frustrated with not getting any visitors to the site… I spent so much time and energy creating the forums and almost nobody was visiting, no matter how I promoted the site. It was then suggested that I created a blog and link to the forums from there.

I liked the idea so much that I put it to use. I like this idea because it gives visitors the chance to get to know me before signing up for the forum; rather than just blindly singing up and not knowing what to expect. It’s a little hard to explain, but I assure you. It does make sense. This also gives me an opportunity to review websites/books/whatever then post them for everybody to share. If I find something that I feel is helpful, I’ll link to it here on my blog.

Forgive my incoherent rambling… it’s after 1 am and I have been at this for hours. My brain is just about fried. I’ll post more in the coming days and with any luck, by the end of the week the site will be fully functional!
